In March of 2019 our members participated in a corporate visit to Finish Line’s headquarters. We were able to meet with several HR leaders from the company, tour their distribution center, and discuss the HR strategies Finish Line implements. We would like to express our appreciation and thanks to Hannah Reeser, an alumni of the HRA @ IU, the HR team at Finish Line for hosting us, to Mia Fiore, SHRM-CP, alumni of the HRA @ IU, and SPEA’s Undergraduate Programs Office for collaborating with us to make this trip happen.
The Human Resource Association strives to create engaging learning opportunities like this very one for its members to bridge the student learning experience, aiming at taking ideas and concepts that start in the classroom and applying them in the office. This visit was designed with the intent of exposing HRA's members to active practices within HR, innnovative and emerging ideas, a modern work environment, and a networking opportunity with a global brand.
