The South Central Indiana Human Resources Association (SCIHRA) is a local chapter of SHRM. SCIHRA encourages members to pursue professional development by seeking certification through the HR Certification Institute, specifically the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exams. Additionally, members have opportunities to engage in educational programs, networking events, and take active roles in initiatives like serving on the SCIHRA Board of Directors to develop within the local HR community.
SCIHRA holds monthly luncheon meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM, offering a platform for learning, networking, and engagement. Members are also encouraged to check the Events page for upcoming programs, book club meetings, and other networking opportunities.
